I discovered this when I took her inside this afternoon. For the past 2-3 days I hadn’t taken her in because it’s so cold outside and I don’t want to shock her with the heat inside, but today I kept the heat on low inside especially for her. Nina isn’t allowed to run in the garden like Miel because she doesn’t behave. She’s a digger. So about her foot: it’s bald and it looks red and chafed in places. Not healthy. I have made an appointment with the vet for her tomorrow evening, hopefully it’s nothing serious. Probably something similar like to what Miel had last summer. That was from a parasite on the skin. To be sure it wasn’t her dirty cage I just cleaned it. It was in need of cleaning anyway.
